The next three players through to the final day of action at the International Darts Open are Jonny Clayton, Joe Murnan and Joe Cullen.
Cullen had to recover from adversity to defeat Davy van Baelen in a last leg decider. He like many others lost his luggage so had to borrow a shirt and darts but still claimed the victory.
He established a 2-0 lead but Van Baelen reeled off three legs on the spin to go 3-2 up. The Belgian went one away only for Cullen to force a decider and then he claimed victory.
Murnan took advantage of an out of sorts Jeffrey de Zwaan to record a 6-3 win as he continued to impress on his return to the
European Tour.
It wasn’t as simple for
Jonny Clayton who came from 3-0 down to slay Steffan Siepmann who threatened to produce his pre loud good form on the European Tour. Despite that though it was Clayton who came through in a tough test 6-4.
