Suljovic smashes Ward in brutal display, Wright mounts comeback to edge out Edhouse

Mensur Suljovic, Peter Wright and Richard North are the last players through to the final day of action at the International Darts Open in Riesa.

Suljovic smashes Harry Ward in a 6-0 win in a brutal display in which he averaged 101. He hit four 180’s en route with 42 percent on the doubles as he continued his form.

Wright came from 3-0 to defeat Ritchie Edhouse 6-4 with a 96 average and five 180’s and he will take on Mensur Suljovic tomorrow in one of the top ties of the round.

North also took out the top seed in Ian White and came back from 5-3 down in the process. He claimed a 6-5 victory with four 170’s and a brilliant 105 checkout on the way in his comeback.
