Cullen survives comeback from Murray, Wattimena dealt early blow by Michael

Cullen is the favourite to get through tonight's group but his first result could have been so much different. He was facing Ryan Murray and Cullen was both 2-0 and 4-2 up but Murray ended up coming back to force a decider.

Despite that though he didn't capitalise and missed two match darts which handed 'The Rockstar' the first two points of the night.

Jermaine Wattimena was a replacement for Jeffrey de Zwaan and his night isn't going too well so far. He lost his first game to John Michael in a 5-2 defeat with 'The Deadly Rose' averaging 95.2 with 5/8 on the doubles en route.

Ryan Murray though dealt John Michael a blow and as a result it is still very much open after the Scot saw him off in a 5-3 win with a 121 on the bull to complete it.

Every evening, the four players will each face off; with each match being the best of nine legs. This group stage lasts 32 days with that amount of players set to reach the next round to play it out from there to crown a winner.

All players have webcams set up in their houses and say their scores out loud; to make sure that they can be inputted correctly without any cheating taking place.

With each night’s action commencing at 1930 BST, darts commentator Dan Dawson will be on hand to talk through proceedings; which will also include live score graphics on screen.
