Dirk van Duijvenbode has reached the final of the
Dutch Darts Masters. After an exciting semi-final he defeated James Wade 7-6.
Van Duijvenbode broke away halfway through the match by hitting 70 for a 4-3 lead, but gave the break back immediately after a great 102 check-out by Wade. The Machine' saved himself a moment later by hitting 140 to take a 6-5 lead.
Wade only needed one more leg and first got the chance in Van Duijvenbode's leg. But the Dutch ace held throw with an 89 check-out and forced a final leg. Wade was not on a finish within six darts in that leg, while Van Duijvenbode made the crowd explode with a great 72 finish in two darts.
