Van den Bergh eases past Wattimena, Noppert edges Van der Voort in thriller

Dimitri van den Bergh will face Danny Noppert in the second semi-final of the Dutch Darts Masters after contrasting routes to the latter stages in Amsterdam.

Van den Bergh eased past Jermaine Wattimena averaging 98.56 in a dominant 6-1 victory as he ended the charge of ‘Machine Gun’ and joins fellow PDC invitee, James Wade in the semi-finals.

While Noppert produced a nerveless 12-darter to see off Vincent van der Voort in a Double Dutch thriller at the Ziggo Dome.

In the early stages of the match Van der Voort took a break lead twice, but Noppert was able to repair the damage each time. Both players then held their own legs three times, so a deciding leg was needed to decide the winner.

In the final leg Noppert had a finish after just nine darts and finished with a nice 12-darter.
