A 10 finish then brought the multiple major-finalist to 5-1, before Taylor managed to come back to 5-3 with a 94 finish and a 56 check-out. Chisnall then finished it off with a 47 check-out for a spot in the third round.
Cullen thus also secured himself a spot in the last sixteen of the Euro Tour tournament in Hildesheim. 'The Rockstar' did good business at the beginning of the match by taking a 3-0 lead.
However, the Englishman then fell back scoring and saw Cullen come back to 3-3. The next three legs went with the darts, making the score 5-4 in favor of Cullen after nine legs. Hopp then had three innings to force a deciding leg, but failed on the doubles each time. Cullen punished these misses with a 98 finish, putting a 6-4 final score on the scoreboard.
