The conclusion of Players Championship 17 is fast approaching in Milton Keynes as the last 16 stage has now been reached.

One of the through is Joe Cullen, who defeated Gary Anderson 6-1 in the last 16, the Rockstar faces off against Lakeside finalist Chris Landman. Josh Rock is also in the last 16. The former youth world champion defeated Scott Williams (6-2) he faces Niels Zonneveld qualified for the last sixteen by beating Arron Monk 6-0.
Elsewhere, well-known names like Dave Chisnall, Stephen Bunting and Ross Smith also made it to the last sixteen of this event. Yesterday's winner Mike de Decker saw his tournament come to an end however. The Belgian went down 6-5 after a decisive leg against Ryan Searle.
A total of 125,000 pounds in prize money is distributed at each Players Championship tournament. The winner of the event will receive a check for 15,000 pounds.
