De Sousa pinned double 20 to go 2-1 ahead with a hold but again it was 2-2 despite the former hitting his first 180.
'The Special One' hit his second 180 from there and took out 85 on the bull to go 4-2 up. Wade wired double 12 for a 104 checkout and De Sousa followed up a 180 with a 63 finish to go 5-3 up.
De Sousa made sure of at least a point with a 76 checkout to make it 6-3 but Wade forced a final leg shootout after the former missed a match dart at double seven.
But De Sousa produced when it mattered with an 11-darter in the decider to record back-to-back wins.
