Dimitri van den Bergh has knocked Jonny Clayton of the top of the Premier League table by seeing off the in-form Ferret in a 7-3 win.
It was a high quality clash with five 180's and a 102.32 average for Van den Bergh which saw him come through in a succession of legs.
The first two legs were shared on throw before Van den Bergh broke with a second 180 and double eight to lead 2-1.
He continued to edge ahead by going 3-2 up and in a high quality start to the tie, Clayton took out 121 on the bull to break back and level at 3-3.
Van den Bergh served up a 121 checkout of his own to make it 4-3. From there, he smashed in a 104 checkout to make it 5-3 and the run continued by converting double 18 to assure himself of at least a point.
After Clayton missed the chance of a potential lifeline, Van den Bergh pounced to claim the victory and both points available.
