Defeat once again for Van den Bergh against Van Gerwen: "I’m going to beat him one time. I believe I can"

Dimitri Van den Bergh failed to win the innaugral edition of the Poland Darts Masters. 'The Dreammaker' went down 8-3 in the final against Michael van Gerwen.

Van den Bergh did not exactly play badly, but clashed with a phenomenal Van Gerwen. The Belgian has never won against 'Mighty Mike' before and sadly that wait goes on. "Michael was so good once again, but he knows I’m chasing him," Van den Bergh laughed.

"I’m going to beat him one time. I believe I can, but fair play to Michael, he was fantastic."

The 29-year-old Belgian was playing on his birthday, but was unable to give himself the perfect present. “You’re playing against the best players in the world. What an atmosphere, what a crowd. It was amazing, and I had a beautiful birthday.”
