Dobey believes PDC Home Tour was vital in pre World Championship preparation

Chris Dobey is through to the third round of the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship after a stunning fightback to defeat Jeff Smith.
Dobey recovered from losing the first two sets in the match, missing darts to win both before turning it around to win 3-2. For 'Hollywood', the preparation of playing in the PDC Home Tour was vital for him and was a major factor for him.
"Jeff hit everything early on but I dug deep and came out the winner," said Dobey.
"I think the PDC Home Tour has made a big difference. It has been fantastic for me in helping me get some decent match practice to get ready for this.
"I've not had the greatest year and I didn't have the greatest start to the match but it came good in the end and there is no better tournament for that to happen than the World Championship."
