Adam Hunt is through to the second round at the 2020/21 PDC World Darts Championship but only after a last leg victory over Lisa Ashton.
Hunt spoke afterwards and said that it wasn't the best draw considering his record against 'The Lancashire Rose' but that he was pleased to move through.
"To be fair, it was a great game of darts. I just said there, I thought I could have maybe won it 3-1 but her finishing was brilliant and to be fair her scoring was relentless as well," said Hunt post match.
"I've played Lisa twice before and never beat her so I knew exactly what to expect. It was probably the worst possible draw for me, I would rather play someone else but just happy to get through."
"I was gutted when I heard the fans wouldn't be allowed in but then I looked at the plus side that they'd all be on Lisa's side. I'd rather the fans there but it worked out well for me."
