Dolan frustrated with PDC and Sky Sports World Darts Championship scheduling: "I've got a flight home tonight and now I'm supposed to be the first day on after"

Brendan Dolan pounced on missed doubles to see off Jimmy Hendriks without a great deal of fuss to begin his PDC World Darts Championship campaign and he will return post Christmas with Jonny Clayton or Danny van Trijp in his sights.

But one thing Dolan knows due to the post Christmas schedule is that he will play first of all which he laments and was critical to the PDC and Sky Sports about.

"It's been kind of annoying because I know the travel I have is I've got a flight home tonight and now I'm supposed to be the first day on after. To be the last day on before the Christmas break and then be the first on, there are loads of other games that could have played from those who played earlier in the tournament," he said post match.

"It is what it is, I don't make the plans. I don't draw the draw out. Between PDC and Sky Sports, they do the schedule and you have to live with it and accept when it comes and probably now I'm actually grateful that I have that problem to sort out."
