Martin Schindler defeated on Friday in the PDC World Darts Championship Martin Lukeman with 3-1 and progressed into the third round of the World Darts Championship.
In the fourth leg of the third set The Wall checked in a stunning 170 high finish to win the set. This "big fish" was the first 170 finish thrown in the 2023 World Darts Championship.
Statistician Philipp Wolff found out that the German also made history with it. Before Schindler no German player has hit this finish in the PDC World Darts Championship.
Moreover the finish was the 100th 100+ finish during the 2023 World Darts Championship.
