Draw and schedule confirmed for 2022 Dutch Darts Masters: Van Gerwen-Noppert and Wright-Van Duijvenbode among first round ties

The draw and schedule has been confirmed ahead of the 2022 Dutch Darts Masters which will take place at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam between June 24-25.

Opening day will see the eight invited PDC players take on the top Dutch darting stars with Michael van Gerwen and Danny Noppert the two biggest names by ranking facing off in a top first round tie.

One as well which Noppert will look to utilize to his advantage given his good form over the Green Machine and the former World No.1 just returning from surgery.

Dirk van Duijvenbode has been in superb form as of late and will face Peter Wright who has been indifferent so another early shock could be on the cards.

Top seed and for many the man to beat in World darts at the moment, Michael Smith faces Martijn Kleermaker, while Nordic Darts Masters winner Dimitri van den Bergh faces Ron Meulenkamp.

Gerwyn Price will face Vincent van der Voort, James Wade is set for a tie with Jeffrey de Zwaan and Jonny Clayton returns to the Netherlands after winning the Finals last season facing Jermaine Wattimena.

As well as Fallon Sherrock who will aim for a race against time if she loses against Maik Kuivenhoven with the Women's Series also taking place this weekend.
