Draw confirmed for PDC Development Tour 7 as Beau Greaves aims to continue dominant run

Friday afternoon begins the seventh tournament of the year on the PDC Development Tour 2025. The Development Tour is the youth circuit of the PDC. This tour is open to players ages 16 through 23. Players who turn 24 during the season may continue to compete.

The PDC Development Tour circuit consists of 24 tournaments. At each Development Tour tournament there is a prize fund of 15,000 pounds to be distributed.

With the prize money, a ranking is established. At the end of the season, the numbers one and two receive an invitation to the PDC World Darts Championship. plus a Tour Card for 2026 and 2027. The winner of the ranking also gets to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts.

As of time of writing Beau Greaves is into the semi-finals already having had a dominant run through that saw her take down Wessel Tempelaars with a 100 average, David Schlichting and Damian Vetjens. She already leads by some distance to Owen Bates in second.

She also previously dominated the Challenge Tour but decided for a weekend off instead of playing last time out so Darius Labanauskas took the impetus. Of those also in the top ten still in contention features Bradly Roes, Charlie Manby, Cam Crabtree and Henry Coates. All are involved in Development Tour Seven.

A new feature of this season is that players in the top 64 cannot enter and play. This cuts off a potential spot at the World Championship and a Tour Card for those who often use it as they are not good enough to sustain a spot on the main tour through the top 64 or cannot qualify for the World's. But this means Gian van Veen for instance cannot play when before he could.
