Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Rob Cross have each been awarded an exclusive set of 18-carat solid gold darts worth a whopping £30,000. This special prize was awarded to them after they managed to throw a perfect nine-dart finish during the Premier League Darts 2025.
Main sponsor BetMGM presented the three players with their unique trophies prior to the eighth round of play at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle. Humphries and Cross achieved their perfect legs during a spectacular evening in Brighton earlier in March, while Littler notched the 19th nine-darter in the history of the competition en route to his victory in Cardiff last week.
In recognition of this exceptional achievement, the three players received a custom-made set of gold darts. This exclusive gift can be won multiple times in the current Premier League season, meaning that the darters can obtain another set - or even more - if they manage to throw another nine-darter in the remaining weeks of the competition.
World champion Luke Littler reacted enthusiastically to his award. “To hit a nine-darter on the big stage is always special but to do it in a final against Michael van Gerwen was even more memorable. It's a special prize from BetMGM.”
Current world number one Luke Humphries was also pleased with his prize. “It's an amazing prize and when we were told about the gold set of darts by BetMGM, I said I'd love to win them. It's something prestigious to remember my first TV nine-darter with.”
Former world champion Rob Cross was also happy with the present. “We're all striving for perfection but nine-darters are so hard to come by, and it's extra special that BetMGM have provided such an amazing prize this season. I'll treasure the gold darts as a great memory of my nine-darter in Brighton."
PDC Chief Executive Matt Porter emphasized the historic significance of this achievement. “No TV tournament in history has featured more nine-darters than the BetMGM Premier League, and to have seen three perfect legs already in less than half of the 2025 season shows the amazing standard that our players are producing week-in and week-out.
Porter additionally praised the efforts of the main sponsor. “It’s brilliant that BetMGM are rewarding the players for any nine-darter hit during this year’s tournament and the fact it’s such a unique and lucrative prize in the 18ct gold darts makes a nine-darter this season an even more memorable achievement for the players involved.”
