Draw for Grand Slam of Darts to be made on Saturday

The draw for the Grand Slam of Darts will be made at the conclusion of the PDC Winter Series on Saturday, it has been revealed.

For the draw, the 30 PDC players will be put into three pots of eight players each and one of six which is determined in Order of Merit order after the final day of the PDC Winter Series.

The top eight ranked PDC players will then be seeded as per bracket order in Groups A-H with the remaining players ordered with the two BDO players (Wayne Warren & Mikuru Suzuki) set to be in the third pot as numbers 31 and 32.

Three spots remain in the Grand Slam field. The highest ranked player on the Winter Series of Merit not to have qualified as of yet will be awarded a place.

Any winners of the Winter Series events who have not yet qualified will join the reserve list. Should any players also withdraw, the names will come from that reserve list.

If all players from this list play in the Grand Slam, any further players will come from the eight Last 16 losers from the Qualifier which include Brendan Dolan and Steve Beaton.
