PDC European Q-School continues onto technically Day Four but it is the first day of the Final Stage in Kalkar that produces the rewards as the first two Tour Cards will be handed out.
The Tour Cards will go to the finalists of today as well as the next four days overall with less going towards the Order of Merit meaning that one good run could feasibly seal a Tour Card for some of the top names.
But lose early and it could be curtains especially for droves of big names who are in action in Germany including Jimmy van Schie who last year would've got a Tour Card under the new rule after reaching the Day One final. He leads a contingent of Dutch stars including Jelle Klaasen and Jeffrey de Zwaan among others.
While Arno Merk is involved from a German perspective as well as Liam Maendl-Lawrance who had the best average of the opening phase with a 105. Others involved include Andy Baetens, Andreas Harrysson, Jose de Sousa, Adam Gawlas, Adam Sevada, Ben Robb who all qualified to the Final Stage automatically and join the top names such as Van Schie who had to go through the lottery of the opening stage.
Play begins at 1pm local time and will begin an hour later in the so-called parallel Q-School in Milton Keynes. This means both start at 1pm local time with it going all the way to the final today.
In terms of split, European Q-School gets 16 Tour Cards split between the daily winners of which there will be eight and then another eight through the Order of Merit.
