Draw PDC UK Q-School Final Stage Day One | Beaton-Petersen set for round one as Sherrock, Henderson, King among top names aiming for Tour Cards

The draw has been completed for PDC UK Q-School which begins the Final Stage today (Thursday 8 January) running all the way through until Sunday 11 January.
Two Tour Cards will be on offer each day for each of the finalists in Milton Keynes and also the parallel Q-School in Kalkar in Germany which has also just started.
After the opening stage of action, the players who made it through including Steve Beaton, John Henderson and John Part join those who have sealed their Final Stage spots already. They range from those who have just dropped off the tour to qualifiers from secondary tours including Mervyn King, Fallon Sherrock and Charlie Manby among the leading lights.
Beaton-Petersen, Sherrock-Lennon among top ties
The top ties in the opening round include Beaton facing Devon Petersen, Ted Evetts takes on Jarred Cole while Sherrock faces Steve Lennon. There are only five Tour Cards on offer outside of those won outright through the daily winners meaning that there is less chance to leave it on the Order of Merit.
Also unlike last year, players can go home after they've won their cards meaning that a top up system will be used allowing today Kevin McDine to already take a spot in the 128 after missing out. While Richie Burnett is also in to likely play most of it from tomorrow so opportunities aplenty. Who seals the dream golden ticket?
