The
draw has been confirmed for Day Two of the Final Stage at
European Q-School which will continue today at Wunderland in Kalkar with another two outright Tour Cards on offer in the PDC darting dream factory.
The Tour Cards will go to the finalists of today as well as the next four days overall with less going towards the Order of Merit meaning that one good run could feasibly seal a Tour Card for some of the top names.
But it can also go the other way as Jeffrey de Zwaan and Jeffrey Sparidaans found out on the opening day. Both remain in a good position but in addition they lost in the final round so have to return today. Arno Merk who was the leading light from Germany sealed a first Tour Card while Filip Bereza became a story as the unheralded Pole averaged just over 80 all day and
survived 10 match darts in the final match to seal one.
De Zwaan and Sparidaans return today alongside Jimmy van Schie - one of the favourites to finally make a step up to the PDC Tour. Others involved include Boris Krcmar, Andreas Harrysson, Jose de Sousa, Jelle Klaasen, Brian Raman, David Cameron, Danny Lauby representing most of the world in one Q-School in Kalkar.
Play begins at 1pm local time in Europe and will also take place at the parallel Q-School in Milton Keynes. This means both start at 1pm local time with it going all the way to the final today.
In terms of split,
European Q-School gets 16 Tour Cards split between the daily winners of which there will be eight and then another eight through the Order of Merit.
