DRAW PDC UK Q-School Final Stage Day Two | Sherrock, Beaton, Henderson, King continue Tour Card hunt in Milton Keynes

Another day of darting action is upon us at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes with PDC UK Q-School reaching the second day of the Final Stage where the Tour Cards are dished out.

The opening day on both sides in UK and Europe were very much a lottery with Rhys Griffin returning to the tour straight away after two years on it. He was the best player on the day defeating Steve Beaton, Shane McGuirk and finally Scott Waites.

The latter three are among the top names who return today. While Adam Leek was a real success story with the Adelaide ace packing in his job in order to come over to the UK and try to fulfill his darting dreams and he did so by defeating Tyler Thorpe, another new name to add to the darting psyche.

As well as Beaton, McGuirk and Waites, there are a malaise of top names in action including John Henderson, Mervyn King, Fallon Sherrock, Devon Petersen and John Part all aiming to make it to the promised land of the PDC with some of them getting a spot in the Final Stage straight away meaning that they have more of a chance.

But Q-School is always a lottery and as the opening day proved, it is not a given as to who will get through. Among the top ties opening round include Mark McGeeney facing Aden Kirk, Beaton faces Stephen Burton while Petersen faces another tough test in Graham Usher.

Play begins at midday UK time, with the action also starting at the same time albeit an hour later in terms of time difference at the parallel Q-School in Kalkar. The two finalists today seal Tour Cards, while the top five on the Order of Merit claim them in the UK at the end of the four days. In EU they get eight spots and the two per day meaning that UK with less entries is more of a tough school to get out of. Who wins through today?
