Draw released for PDC Super Series opener: Price to face Ashton, potential second round clash with Anderson

The draw has been released ahead of the PDC Super Series which begins on Thursday in Bolton and sees four Players Championship tournaments to begin the season off.

The likes of Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Gary Anderson are in action with the return also of Raymond van Barneveld likely to grab attention.

Price in his first ranking tournament as World Champion and World Number One will take on Lisa Ashton.

With the potential for 'The Iceman' to duel with Gary Anderson in the second round in a repeat of their World Championship final.

Van Gerwen will take on Matthew Edgar as he looks to bounce back after losing his World Number One spot.

While Raymond van Barneveld's return to PDC action will see him face Stephen Bunting in a tough assignment.

Other standout clashes include Glen Durrant facing Luke Humphries and Danny Baggish taking on Keane Barry.
