Draw released for Players Championship 21: Smith set to face Van Barneveld in opening round

The draw has been released for Players Championship 21, the first of two events in a double header of action on the ProTour this weekend.

It also sees the ProTour return to Germany for the first time in a long time with a potential big opportunity awaiting.

This is because most of the big names have decided against playing in Germany including Michael van Gerwen, Rob Cross and Peter Wright.

The likes of Ian White, Michael Smith and Mensur Suljovic though are all still involved in the hunt for the titles.

Action begins at 11am BST with it played down to a finish for the £10,000 top prize.
