Hughes takes over with most European Tour UK qualifications

Jamie Hughes has taken over the mantle of having the most qualifications through the UK Qualifier route with nine after a double win on Friday in Hildesheim.

This saw the Tipton ace who himself claimed the last European Tour event in the form of the Czech Darts Open qualify for both Mannheim and Riesa.

Steve Beaton is just behind him who lost his perfect record yesterday for qualification. 'The Bronzed Adonis' has benefited for the last few events with seeding but on his return to the qualifiers he couldn't get through.

Keegan Brown and Chris Dobey are next two players who have performed well on the European Tour this season. It shows mainly due to the toughness of the qualification route; in a lot of cases who is in form. View the full list of most qualifiers below.
