The draw has been completed for the 2020 UK Open semi-finals with the final session of action confirmed in Minehead.
It sees a potential final between Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price set for later. This is due to them being put in other semi-finals than each other.
Price will take on Jonny Clayton in an all-Welsh clash after victories over
Dimitri van den Bergh and
Jamie Hughes respectively.
The World Cup partners have impressed all tournaments but will it be one step closer to another major for Price or a step closer to a first major for Clayton who reached his maiden major final in his venue in the Players Championship Finals.
Speaking of the Players Championship Finals, Van Gerwen and Gurney are set to face off in the second semi-final.
'Mighty Mike' lost out to him in the 2018 edition in the final and while they won't face off in the final, due to breaking a losing run against the Dutchman he will believe that he can see him off but MVG since surviving early scares has been in ominous form. Despite that it will be a hard match to call.
