Glen Durrant is through to the semi-finals of the World Matchplay for the second consecutive year but had to produce a brilliant fightback to see off Vincent van der Voort in the end.
Durrant was 10-5 down and looked to be heading out; but produced some fine darts to win
18-16 in the end; afterwards, the three time Lakeside World Champion wasn't sure how he claimed victory.
"Sometimes you've got to rely on experience. There was a lot of similarities to the Mark McGeeney game. Vincent will be devastated right now because he will be sat in his hotel room right now with a better player losing that game," said Durrant post-match to
Online Darts.
"I genuinely wish I could say I was always going to win that match. The better player lost that game. I'm not really sure how I won that game."
