Bull's NL is pleased to announce the return of Marvin van Velzen as of April 1. The 24-year-old dart player from Westland has signed a multi-year contract with the largest darts brand in the Benelux. After a short interim period, Van Velzen returns to Bull's NL, where he was previously part of as a talented dart player. "It's nice and familiar to be back," Van Velzen says enthusiastically.
'The Terminator' finally broke through in 2024 with a victory at the MODUS Super Series and an impressive nine-darter. That same year, he qualified for the Dutch Darts Championship, a European Tour tournament in his own country. In early 2025, he secured a Tour Card at Q-School, officially joining the professional darts tour.
"The good results have given my self-confidence a big boost," Van Velzen said. "But past performance does not guarantee the future, so I know hard work is needed."
Van Velzen has a special relationship with Bull's NL, where he took his first steps as a young talent. With his return, he is once again under contract with the same brand as compatriots Dirk van Duijvenbode and Maik Kuivenhoven. All three Tour Card holders from the same region are now part of Team Bull's NL, whose headquarters are also located in that region. "Bull's is a local brand and I already know the people I will be working with very well. That feels familiar," Van Velzen said.
Van Velzen has a clear ambition: qualification for the World Darts Championship. He also wants to qualify for the Players Championship Finals and hopes to play several European Tour tournaments.
