Matthew Edgar and Robert Thornton have decided not to compete in the 20th PDC Challenge Tour tournament of the season on Sunday.
Edgar is just returning from a wrist and elbow injury and was not planning to play the whole weekend anyway. ''I did enter 3/5 thinking I could manage it but it’s too much for me at the moment. I will continue treatment and hope to be back in competition darts this December'', he wrote on Twitter.
Thornton, who lost a final this weekend, withdrew due to illness for the final tournament on Sunday. The Scot lost to Wesley Plaisier in the final on Friday night.
