Dirk van Duijvenbode has fairly easily qualified for the quarter-finals of the
World Series of Darts Finals. Aubergenius defeated Gary Anderson 6-3 in the second round.
Van Duijvenbode again did not have to show his best level. "It didn't feel as bad as yesterday, but at the end I did have almost the same average again (92.67). I did play more consistently than yesterday, then it was with high peaks and deep valleys," Van Duijvenbode told Dartsnieuws.com.
Level needs to improve
In the quarter-finals, the 30-year-old Dutchman will take on Ryan Joyce. "Basically, it doesn't matter who I play against. I am still in the tournament and that is the most important thing, but it will have to be a lot better on the final day to have a chance of winning the final."
