Eliminated Hendriks felt there was more to come against Dolan: ''I could have easily won this match"

Jimmy Hendriks saw his World Darts Championship dream shattered in the second round against Brendan Dolan. The North Dutchman went down 3-1 in sets against the experienced Northern Irishman.

''In the first round I still had excitement, now not at all, but I just didn't hit anything. Such a shame. I also hardly threw a 180, it just wasn't there. I did not show what I can do, because I could have easily won this match'', Hendriks reacted after his match against the Dutch press.

The 28-year-old darter from Castricum felt he could have gone far in this tournament had he beaten Dolan. ''If I had won this one I could have made it difficult for a top eight player, but I didn't show it twice this World Championship so then you shouldn't expect anything. Really disappointing. Experience won today, I think. This will go down as experience and if I'm in the same position here next year, I'll win 3-0 here.''
