After eight days of darting action, the second round concludes and from now on, it will be the business end of the PDC World Darts Championship from the 27th onwards but we have one more session to enjoy from the Alexandra Palace.
Four more matches featuring two Premier League stars and one player who will look to potentially unseat them and force his way into the eight players involved in the weekly darting roadshow.
The two being Jonny Clayton who won the league phase as defending champion this season in the Premier League but that has been his only highlight with the Ferret struggling after his breakout 2021. He starts against Dutchman, Danny van Trijp who dumped out Steve Beaton and at times was super impressive.
While for Joe Cullen, he was a width of a wire away from being Premier League champion and he starts off against Ricky Evans in a likely rapid fire game which will take no time at all.
Before that is Danny Noppert who many feel deserves his spot in the Premier League as one of the most consistent players on the PDC Tour and a UK Open champion but he will look to leave no doubt this week. He faces World Seniors Master, David Cameron.
While to start the session are two players firmly on the up after their best seasons yet in Martin Schindler and David Cameron. Santa may be coming but there are still some tungsten treats to be handed out before the big day, it all begins again at 7pm.
Evening Session (1900 GMT)
4x Second Round
Martin Schindler v Martin Lukeman (R2)
Danny Noppert v David Cameron (R2)
Jonny Clayton v Danny van Trijp (R2)
Joe Cullen v Ricky Evans (R2)
