England produce quality display to down hosts Germany and reach World Cup of Darts semi-finals

England have a place in tonight's World Cup of Darts semi-finals after a quality display from James Wade and Dave Chisnall to down hosts, Germany with two singles victories.

The top seeds have got better as the weekend has gone on and will now face Austria later for a spot in the final.

James Wade was first up and played a captain's role with a superb set up as he claimed a 4-1 win over Gabriel Clemens to silence the home crowd and give England the lead.

This was with a 101.3 average and a trademark 4/6 on the doubles from 'The Machine' who hit a dazzling 130 checkout to claim it.

Max Hopp apologised for his display yesterday but his Quarter-Final one wasn't any better as he was downed 4-0 by Dave Chisnall who confirmed their spot with 57% on the doubles and an 89 average in the end with the German ace missing both attempts.
