Erik Clarys wants to guide Kim Huybrechts back to the top-20: "But then he has to listen and peak more at certain tournaments"

Kim Huybrechts has been working with ex-darter Erik Clarys for a while now. In the podcast "Double Top," Clarys was asked how that collaboration is going.

Thus, Clarys was asked if he can bring Huybrechts back to the top-20 in the world rankings, a position he held just a few years ago. Currently, the 37-year-old Belgian is in 31st place.

"If Kim would really listen I can guide him back to the top-24," Clarys said. "For the top-20, everything really needs to fall into place."

"The problem with Kim is that he loves the game way too much," Clarys continued. "He wants to play all the tournaments and that's just too much. Kim needs to pick his tournaments more and really peak at the important tournaments. If he can do that, he can definitely climb up the world rankings again."
