European Champion Ross Smith left frustrated at Premier League Darts omission: "As the biggest 180-hitter in the world in the second half of 2022"

Ross Smith was the latest player to win a ranking major title only to be snubbed for Premier League Darts selection and was left frustrated.

Smith stated during the Masters last weekend that the PDC could not really ignore him because of winning a major tournament. However, the PDC did not care about that seemingly.

"As the reigning European Champion and the biggest 180-hitter in the world in the second half of 2022, I’m obviously absolutely gutted not to be included," he said on Twitter.

"But I respect the decision and wish all the players the very best for the event."
