Luke Littler lived up to his role as favorite on Sunday evening and progressed confidently into the final day of the
German Darts Grand Prix 2025.
In front of the Munich crowd, The Nuke defeated his fellow countryman Cameron Crabtree 6-1 with an impressive average of over 107 points. In an exclusive
interview with
DartsNews.com immediately after the match, Littler reacted to his European Tour debut in Munich.
"It was very good. I'm happy with my performance - hopefully I play well again tomorrow," said Littler to
DartsNews.com and now will face Joe Cullen in the round of 16.
Littler created an electrifying atmosphere at the Zenith in Munich
As the 18-year-old was unable to qualify for the German Darts Grand Prix in his debut year, Littler celebrated his first appearance in the Bavarian capital this evening. "It's a new city and a new tour for me as I didn't come last year. First game, first win - hopefully I can get many more wins here."
Another turbulent few weeks lie behind Littler. After a Pro Tour block last week and a Premier League trip to Rotterdam, it was straight on to Germany for The Nuke. But he doesn't want to know anything about the stress of traveling.
"I wouldn't say it's a struggle it's part of the calendar. We throw a lot of darts every year and I'm very happy with the way the darts are going at the minute."
