The second semi-final is set on Night Three of
Premier League Darts action in Glasgow with
Michael Smith set to face
Jonny Clayton.
Smith saw off Gerwyn Price 6-3 in a match dominated by missed doubles with last week's winner losing out and 'Bully Boy' sealing some valuable points.
To start the tie, Price sealed an immediate break with a 74 checkout but Smith responded with a second 180 and 115 checkout to make it 1-1.
Smith though surged ahead and hit four legs on the spin after going 3-2 in front to go one away from the finishing line. That streak was snapped as Price made it 5-3 but both missed multiple darts, in Price's case to prolong the tie and in Smith's case to then seal it on double two.
While in the case of Jonny Clayton, it was a superb rout over Chris Dobey to finally kickstart his Premier League campaign.
Clayton alongside Peter Wright was pointless to begin the night but unlike 'Snakebite', he will not leave tonight that way after saving his best display so far for tonight.
He hit a 102.5 average and three 180's in a 6-1 win over 'Hollywood' who topped the table coming into this week albeit at the early stage.
