Mario Vandenbogaerde
The fifteen Tour Card winners at PDC European Q-School are set with 11 players winning one through the Order of Merit.
Mario Vandenbogaerde convincingly lead the Order of Merit with 12 points. The Belgian reached the final twice but each time lost against Jose Justicia and Luc Peters respectively.
Jules van Dongen finished second with 'The Dutch Dragon' standing out like he has on the North American circuit over the past year or so. He lost in the final on the second day to Brian Raman despite going 4-0 up.
Kevin Doets also achieved eight points during the final phase of the Q-School. The top three of the ranking were already certain of a Tour Card after three of the four match days.
Danny Jansen started the last day with seven points, but then lost his first match. However, his point total turned out to be more than sufficient for a Tour Card. Tony Martinez and Radek Szaganski also finished on seven points.
Damian Mol, Jimmy Hendriks, Ricardo Pietreczko and Vladimir Andersen needed six points for a Tour Card. Andersen is the second Danish darts player ever with a Tour Card after Per Laursen in 2014.
Martinez had an important role to play as he beat Dragutin Horvat in the semi-finals. The latter missed 12 match darts and Martinez sent it to a decider which he claimed to hand Rowby-John Rodriguez aa Tour Card.
Derk Telnekes, Christian Kist, Benito van de Pas, Ronny Huybrechts, Cristo Reyes, Chris Landman among others will have to ply their trade on the Challenge Tour.
