Jarred Cole has continued to better his game over the past year playing all over in the Online Darts Live League, MAD and the usual PDC routes.
Cole spoke to Tungsten Tales before Q-School where he came so close again and he was glad to have so many opportunities to gain experience and ply his trade.
"I've always gained experience. I've always gained opportunities. I won the MAD Global championship as well so there's loads of experiences this year that make me a better player so I'd like to think I'm more prepared," said Cole to Tungsten Tales.
Now he will play at the WDF
Lakeside World Championship at the moment against Martin Adams and he spoke about drawing the darting legend.
"It's an appealing back up plan. If it doesn't go to plan, you'll keep playing MODUS Darts, you'll play the WDF World Championship. There's so many opportunities."
"I was really happy with the actual match because on paper, that's an incredible game. It's one that people are going to want to watch, it's a great game. As well on paper, it's probably one of the toughest names I could have pulled out of the hat. Opportunity to play Wolfie at Lakeside, that doesn't happen to everyone."
