First PDC Women's Series title of 2023 for Sherrock with Event 10 win, first success since being awarded MBE

Fallon Sherrock has had her Women's Series dominance dented over the past year by a certain Beau Greaves who took victory in the opening tournament of the day.

But Sherrock who is now an MBE is also back in the winners' circle defeating Robyn Byrne who reached her third final of the season with victory for the first time last time out.

But after being defeated in one other final this season, Sherrock finally adds a first title of the year seeing off Natalie Gilbert, Aileen de Graaf and finally Byrne in the final.

Mikuru Suzuki who like Greaves has been one of the leading lights lost in the semi-finals, while Greaves was defeated surprisingly by Paula Jacklin earlier today.

Two more events tomorrow to continue the weekend as the race towards the Women's World Matchplay continues.

The matches on the stream court will be broadcast via PDCTV. For this, you need to create an account and take out a subscription. A monthly subscription costs £9.99, while an annual subscription is also available for £59.99. A special summer pass is also available.

If there are at least 128 players competing, then the entrants on the PDC Women's Series will be in the prizes from the last 64, with £50 for reaching this round. If there are fewer than 128 players, the counter only starts running from the last 32. In that case, they do collect £100 already.

This amount eventually increases. A place in the final already earns £1000. The winner of the tournament receives £2,000 in prize money.
