The World Cup of Darts continues with former champions Wales moving through to the second round as they look to regain their title from 2020.

The Welshmen were too strong for the Philippines, 5-2. Lourence Ilagan and RJ Escaros were able to keep up with the two world class Welshmen in the first few legs and took two of the first four legs. After that Wales consecutively threw in a 106 finish, a 13-darter and a 108 check-out to take the win.

Northern Ireland had a difficult victory over Gibraltar. Daryl Gurney and Brendan Dolan won 5-3 against Justin Hewitt and Craig Galliano. While, last year's runners-up Mensur Suljovic and Rowby-John Rodriguez completed a 5-3 victory over Finland.
