Danny Noppert and Dirk van Duijvenbode have effortlessly qualified for the second round of the World Cup of Darts. The Dutch duo beat Diogo Portela and Artur Valle from Brazil 5-0.
Noppert took the first leg with a 15-darter, after which Brazil were broken in the second leg after Van Duijvenbode hit the double 10. Brazil failed to take the third leg as they had four chances to make it 2-1.
Noppert then put a 3-0 lead on the scoreboard and double 10 made it 4-0. The Dutchman finished with a 14-darter.
While for Germany, it was less plain sailing as they missed 10 match darts between them before finally getting over the line against Spain's Jose Justicia and Tony Martinez 5-4 as they fell over the line but delighted their home fans nonetheless.
