Four-time Snooker World Champion Selby throws support behind Price: "How the crowd treat him is an absolute joke"

Gerwyn Price is the current World Champion up until this evening when he will relinquish that crown but is still World Number One.

Like Mark Selby who is the current World Number One and four-time World Champion in snooker who has been watching the darts this Christmas.

In and around all the heightened talk again regarding Gerwyn Price and the crowd getting on his back, Selby threw his support behind the Welshman calling the way he is treated 'an absolute joke'.

But also questioned whether it will be Michael Smith's time to claim glory when he takes on Peter Wright this evening.

"How the crowd treat Gerwyn Price is an absolute joke!!!! At least give the players a chance! Could this be Michael Smith's year only a matter of time before he wins it if not this year," he said.
