The attention turns this weekend to Amsterdam and the World Series of Darts Finals with another bumper weekend of darting action set to take place on ITV4.
Friday night which gets underway on ITV with first round action set to take place; including some absolute tantalising tungsten from the likes of Michael Smith versus Gerwyn Price; Krzysztof Ratajski against Nathan Aspinall; as well as the in-form Dave Chisnall against Simon Whitlock. It will start at 6:45pm running till 11pm.
There is no afternoon session on Saturday which means that the attention turns straight onto the evening session and the first round winners will take on the seeds that enter into the foray including Michael van Gerwen, defending champion James Wade, surprise package Damon Heta and Raymond van Barneveld, making his final appearance in the Netherlands.
Sunday sees the afternoon and evening session with the conclusion of the tournament set to take place and if the tournaments as of late are anything to go by, MVG could achieve glory in his home country or there could be a surprise winner. It continues a streak of TV tournaments which could be won by anybody.
