Evetts claims 12th PDC Development Tour title with victory over Teehan

Ted Evetts has won his 12th career PDC Development Tour title with victory over Ciaran Teehan in the final in Wigan.

Evetts defeated Teehan in a 5-2 win; as the Irishman continues his form which he exhibited at the World Masters. He couldn't defeat Super Ted though who has been imperious so far on the Development Tour this season.

It is eight titles this season alone for Evetts who has finished well ahead in the Order of Merit and he defeated the likes of Rusty-Jake Rodriguez and Luke Humphries en route to the title.

Wigan hosts the fifth of five weekends in this year’s PDC Development Tour, which will each feature four £10,000 tournaments for players aged 16-23. The likes of Luke Humphries, Bradley Brooks, Justin van Tergouw, Mike de Decker and Berry van Peer have entered these events.
