Gary Anderson big earner in terms of prize money at Players Championship this week

No fewer than four Players Championship tournaments were completed this week. The winner here received 12,000 pounds each time.

Gary Anderson made the most money this week. 'The Flying Scotsman' won the 25th Players Championship of the year last Wednesday and reached the quarter-finals each of the two tournaments following it, good for a total of 18,000 pounds.

Second place went to Ryan Joyce. 'Relentless' won the 26th Players Championship and also reached the last sixteen and the last 32, good for a total of £16,000.

Completing the top three is Ross Smith, who, like Joyce, earned 16,000 pounds over the past four days. Smith won the 28th Players Championship yesterday and went on to reach the last 32 and last 16.
