Gary Anderson, Peter Wright, Ryan Searle & Martin Lukeman into semi-finals at Players Championship 2

Gary Anderson and Peter Wright are set for a blockbuster semi-final at Players Championship 2 in Wigan.

In his quarter-final, Anderson saw off another old foe in Raymond van Barneveld. The Dutchman managed to take a 2-1 lead against Anderson thanks to two 15-darters, but then missed three chances to make it 3-1. Anderson then picked up four legs in a row and eventually triumphed 6-3.
As mentioned, in the semifinals, Anderson will face his compatriot Peter Wright. 'Snakebite' won 6-2 over Robert Owen after a fine match with an average of 99.77.
The other semifinal is between Martin Lukeman and Ryan Searle. The latter defeated Niels Zonneveld 6-4. Lukeman settled his quarterfinal with Callan Rydz (6-2).
