Raymond van Barneveld has qualified for the last eight of Players Championship 2 at the expense of compatriot, Niels Zonneveld. Laying in wait for 'Barney' is his old-rival, Gary Anderson.

Van Barneveld won 6-4 over Van Veen to reach his first ranking quarterfinal early in the season, which is important in the qualifying races for the television tournaments. 'The Flying Scotsman' showed top form by dealing with Andy Baetens (6-0) thanks to an average of 117.12!
Ryan Searle, the losing finalist of Monday, has Niels Zonneveld in his quarter-final. Searle won 6-1 over Arron Monk in the previous round. Peter Wright, Robert Owen, Martin Lukeman and Callan Rydz are the other four quarterfinalists.
