The final is set at the 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters and it will see Gerwyn Price face off against Stephen Bunting shortly in Sakhir for the latest World Series of Darts title.
Price didn't produce the heroics that saw him break the average record of the tournament last time out against Luke Littler but he didn't need to as he claimed the win 7-4
After spending most of last season collecting World Series titles as his only real source of victories, he will aim to start the year the same way. While Bunting has perhaps been the best player this tournament, he saw off Luke Humphries and Chris Dobey tonight to reach the final and the Price display aside has dazzled.
Price eased into a 2-0 lead. Wright with 160 remaining hit two treble 20's but his last dart dropped too low and Price hit the same double 20 to win the leg against the throw.
Wright though found his way back in though as he pinned double 18 only for Price who still struggled on the doubles to ease into a 4-1 lead. He hit double one with his last dart to move further ahead.
With 100 remaining, Price hit treble 20 next leg but missed two darts at double 20 and Wright hit double two for 4-2. Price hit 124 on the bull for 5-2. Price started to go off the boil allowing Wright back to make it 5-4.
But Wright missed three at double two allowing Price back for the first time of asking to move to within one leg of the final at 6-4 before finally sealing the deal.
It is his second final in three years in Bahrain, but can he seal the title or will The Bullet reign supreme?
