Gerwyn Price edges Michael van Gerwen in last leg decider before Michael Smith sees off Luke Littler

The semi-final lineup on Night 8 of the 2024 Premier League Darts is now confirmed with Gerwyn Price and Michael Smith joining Luke Humphries and Nathan Aspinall in the final four.

Price has seen a lot of his good performances not rewarded with wins of late and despite racing into a 3-0 lead against Michael van Gerwen in Dublin, the Welshman was pegged back to 4-4 and it looked like he'd find a way to lose once again. In a deciding leg though, Price pulled out a 16-dart hold of throw, finished on double 10 to get the win, averaging just shy of 103.

In the last quarter-final of the evening, Smith secured his third win of the campaign over Luke Littler. Despite the usual extraordinary actions from the teenage sensation during the early part of the match, once Smith got back level at 3-3 the former world champion was the better player of the two, eventually prevailing 6-4.
